![]() ![]() It does sound a very interesting prospect but we have learned in the last few years that nothing is ever set in stone until they open the doors (and even then you need to be wary!!). The fit would seem to be a good one with convention business (like the Ice Bar and restaurants at The Pointe, which seem to be doing well close to the Convention Center), but that is always a little risky in such heavy tourist territory, where the more upscale restaurants are most vulnerable to downturns like we're having now. Housed in a mammoth, blonde-wooded former churrascaria, ZED's a 'contemporary steakhouse' that swipes Brazil's shining achievement: tableside all-you-can-eat rotisserie. Menus may change daily to reflect fresh offerings. We are proud to offer seasonal ingredients. In all seriousness, we saw what Tavistock said when they bought it but they seem to have had at least 3 changes of mind since then and, while this latest story definitely seems to tie the new concept to the Orlando I-Drive location (as Tavistock don't appear to have any other sites apart from the defunct Race Rock one), I think they may still be wary in the current climate. It kind of had a spa feel with the beautiful. ![]() Only a couple from Gloucester who seem very adept at putting together great F&B trip reports, but I hear they're not likely to be in town anytime soon. They have a great set up and wood bench seating all around the roof. ![]()
